In this huge mass it is difficult to single out what is better and what is worse. I have two retail outlets where we sell used ones. phones, we buy some, we restore others. I compiled a small top of budget models based on the turnover at points of popularity. I highlighted smartphones that were sold in large quantities.
Samsung J1 2016. A large number were sold, even now this model is popular. Very often they buy batteries for them. You can replace it yourself without having any special skills. The hardware of this model is already very old, but people use it. Even my mother only changed it a year ago, and then voluntarily and forcibly, she was given another one. Huawei P Smart (FIG-LX1). A very popular model since 2018, with good filling. This model implements a contactless payment system. Many new models in this series have already been released, but this one is still relevant. They carry a lot for repairs. The components are not expensive, the phone is repairable. In 2021, one was already sold from the point for 4,000 rubles.

iPhone 5s. Old but current phone from 2013. A huge amount is brought in for repairs, to replace the display module or battery. There are other problems. Now the model is very affordable, it flies out of the window very quickly. At prices ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 rubles, they are easily sold. The functionality of the phone is normal even now. The only disadvantage of buying this model secondhand is that most are assembled and reassembled many times. Repairing this model is very easy, with regards to replacing components; many people make the replacements themselves. They will disassemble the phone, replace the display module, and after assembly there are a lot of spare parts left. And they sell it in this condition, but the five can work stably for some time. They just bring such phones that after opening you are shocked that some of the screws, latches, and holders are missing.

The result was a kind of hodgepodge, but a successful and popular model. You can buy it now; a normal working phone costs on average from 5,000 to 7,500 rubles.

Xiaomi redmi 4x. An excellent and balanced smartphone from a Chinese company, it has been on sale since 2017. This gadget has become a very popular model. They sell very quickly from the point of sale; two pieces have already been sold in 2021, at a price of 4,000 rubles. The hardware is decent, there are many very interesting and useful functions, which is why people buy this model. The downside is the lack of a contactless payment system and display burnout. On many models, yellow spots appear after prolonged use. This does not affect operation in any way; it can be treated by replacing the display module.
