Hi all! Everyone, sooner or later, is faced with the issue of installing or reinstalling Windows; some are able to do everything themselves, others turn to friends or a computer service. I decided to share a list of standard and useful programs for installation on a fresh Windows. Don’t forget to first install the necessary set of drivers for the main components of your computer or laptop. The presented list of programs is mainly necessary for working with text documents, audio and video files. Let’s begin.
Microsoft Office. A well-known and familiar software package for working with documents. There are also free analogues, but this is rightfully the best set of programs. Personally, I mainly use Word and Excel, it’s very simple and convenient.

Microsoft DirectX. If, after installation, this package of tools is not on the computer, the toys may not start. You can easily and free download from the official Microsoft website. In simple terms, this is ensuring compatibility of computer games and programs with a variety of audio and video adapters.

Cool Reader. A very convenient program for reading e-books. Opens many different text document formats, will be very useful. It is distributed free of charge and can be downloaded from many resources on the Internet in Russian. There are alternative versions of this program, but I use this one.

Adobe Flash Player. Required for playing audio and video in browsers, including web games. But according to the latest news, Microsoft is abandoning the use of this software in the Windows 10 operating system from January 2021, offering its software with updates. At the moment you can download it for free from the official website.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. One of the best applications for reading PDF files. You come across this format very often, starting from scanning documents. It is distributed free of charge, you can download it from the official website, for versions with advanced functionality, in which, for example, it will be possible to edit such files, you will need to buy the paid PRO version. For the average user, the free version is quite enough.

WinRaR. An excellent program for working with archives, compressed files and the like. It is required to install, although it is a paid program, but the trial period of work, in fact, turns out to be some kind of eternal. You can download it for free from the official website, or purchase a paid license.

Total Commander. This is a shareware version of one of the best file managers for Windows. I think few people do not know about the existence of this program.

AIMP. This is a multifunctional audio center. There are many convenient functions, the main one being music playback. Undoubtedly a necessary program on every computer. KMPlayer. An excellent video player with a built-in codec database. Supports a large number of different video formats and does not require any additional settings. A very simple and functional player.

Daemon Tools. A program for mounting and creating disk images. Required on every computer. Download some image from the network to open it. Daemon Tools will do an excellent job. There are free and paid versions, you can download from the official website. Personally, Daemon Tools Lite is enough for me.
