I decided to change the battery on my old phone, keep it as a second one, as a dialer and use some applications. Replacing and repairing Sony is a very complex and expensive process; not every technician will take on such work. For example, on my phone, in order to replace the battery, you need to completely peel off the display module. It must be heated evenly; there is a very high probability of overheating or cracking.

Batteries are also incredibly expensive; original service versions sell for 4,000 rubles. I wasn’t ready to pay that kind of money for a non-essential phone. Therefore, I was looking for cheaper options, but not of the worst quality. I found something in between and bought it.

As a result, the repair cost me 1,800 rubles, and the phone began to hold even less charge than with the old original one. The question arises: why was all this done? In fact, there was an assumption that the old battery was swollen, since lights began to appear on the display, as if this battery was pressing on it from the inside. But my theory turned out to be incorrect, the old battery was visually in perfect order, not swollen. So I had to leave the phone with With a new battery, I’m afraid that the display may not survive a second disassembly. The charge actually holds less, although I did not use the cheapest battery. But there is a second main phone that suits me very much. This fact is not so sad.

So replacing the battery does not always help solve problems. For me, it’s better not to climb anywhere, but to use everything from the factory. As soon as some problems start, sell such phones and not suffer. Who buys used phones understand that they are buying a “pig in a poke”; the gadget may have some defects that they will have to live with.
